I get asked all the time what my favorite products are and what my daily routine consists of. My routine is pretty simple and takes me a max of 10 minutes, I think most people are surprised by that. I wanted to share my faves and what I have in my personal makeup bag!

Foundation: I am a full coverage kind of girl! I love full coverage, flawless foundations that are usually more on the matte side because I can get pretty oily. It’s also rare that I even put a primer under my foundation. Just my SPF moisturizer and that’s it. I LOVE all NARS foundations. They have a Soft Matte Long Lasting Foundation that is to die for. My second pick is their Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation if you’re wanting something more on the glowy side. These foundations are not cheap but they last forever because you need such little product to get the job done. I can’t tell you how shocked I was the first time I tried their foundation out.

Concealer: After my foundation, I apply a concealer under my eyes and that concealer is Tarte’s Shape Tape of course. Please don’t do that weird triangle thing under your eyes. Nobody will ever need that much product. Just use a small dot under each eye and blend it out. If you have some fine lines under your eyes, I recommend going with something not as thick like NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. 

Powder: Again, because I get oily, I like to use a powder, always! My go-to is Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder. This stuff is also expensive, so if you’re looking for a good dupe, I recently tried one from Maybelline that wasn’t too bad!

Brows: When I’m really feeling lazy, I skip this but most of the time I do it just because I’m a blonde and have practically non-existent eyebrows. I love the Anastasia Brow Definer. It’s triangular shape makes it fast and easy to fill in your brows.

Pencil Liner: I like to line my bottom water line with a black or grey pencil liner. Leave me alone, okay. I’ve been doing this since I was in 6th grade and I just feel weird without it! I’m good with any pencil liner, I’m not too picky but my favorite liner of all time is the Marc Jacobs Eyeliners. They don’t budge all day.

Winged Liner: 95% of the time for the last 6 years or so, I have worn winged liner every single day. No eyeshadow, just a wing. I have honestly mastered it and some people call me the queen of winged liner. It’s something I’m quite proud of and I get compliments on it all the time. I did go through a phase at the end of 2020/beginning of 2021 where I ditched the top liner and only wore mascara, but it’s definitely back again. I like a thinner felt tip and my go to is Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Liner and it does exactly what it says. I have also recently discovered Maybelline’s Eye Studio liner which is the perfect dupe!

Mascara: Lastly, I curl my lashes and throw some mascara on! I’m pretty picky when it comes to mascara because my lashes are basically stick straight and will not stay curled. The only mascara that I religiously use is Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara. I don’t believe in splurging on expensive mascaras. They’re all the same to me and my $10 Maybelline one works better than any $30 mascara that I’ve tried.
